Full-time, Monday-Friday About Us Mayfield Renovations is a growing residential remodeling company in Springfield. We renovate houses top to bottom, from full guts to cosmetic refreshes, and we're expanding so we can run more projects at the same time. We're looking for a skilled, self-driven carpenter who can own a job site and take pride in quality work. What You'll Do Run day-to-day work on residential renovation projects, often independently Rough and finish carpentry: framing, trim, doors, cabinets, stairs, decks Install flooring (LVP, tile, laminate), drywall hang/finish/patch, and paint Handle bathroom and kitchen remodels, including fixture installs Do exterior repairs such as siding, fascia, soffits and gutters Diagnose problems in older homes and recommend fixes Keep job sites organized and communicate progress with the owner Coordinate with subcontractors (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) when they're on site What We're Looking For 3+ years of residential construction or remodeling experience, with strong carpentry skills Ability to work from start to finish across many trades without constant direction Good judgment, problem-solving, and an eye for clean finish work Reliable and on time, with strong communication Own hand and power tools Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (truck preferred) Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, roofs and in crawlspaces Nice to Have Experience with full-gut renovations or older homes Tile work and custom trim experience Experience leading a small crew or helpers Why Work With Us Steady work: several projects lined up months in advance A small team where your work is noticed and your input matters Room to grow as the company expands
