Full-Time + Per diem ($90/Daily) if out of 50 mi radius. About the Role We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Journeyman Carpenter to join our team. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and construction plans. Perform accurate layout, measuring, cutting, fitting, and installation of materials. Construct, install, and repair walls, partitions, framing, doors, windows, and other building components. Build and install concrete forms and formwork as required. Perform wood and metal framing. Install blocking, backing, plywood, sheathing, trim, and related materials. Use hand tools, power tools, saws, levels, lasers, and other carpentry equipment safely and efficiently. Verify work for proper alignment, level, plumb, and dimensions. Coordinate with supervisors, foremen, and other trades to maintain project schedules. Identify and correct workmanship or installation issues. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company, jobsite, and OSHA safety requirements . Assist with additional construction duties as needed. Required Skills Previous experience in commercial concrete construction and/or carpentry preferred. Ability to read tape measures and basic construction drawings. Experience with concrete form systems (wood, Symons, Doka, Peri, EFCO, or similar) is preferred. Knowledge of concrete placement and finishing techniques. Ability to safely operate construction tools and equipment. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Reliable transportation to various job sites. Ability to work overtime and weekends when project schedules require. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and reaching. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts when required. Ability to perform physically demanding labor for extended periods. Work Environment Commercial construction sites. Exposure to dust, noise, concrete materials, and changing weather conditions.
