Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects. Measure and mark dimensions using tape measures, rulers, and other hand tools to ensure precise cuts and placements. Construct frameworks for buildings using wood, metal studs, or other materials according to specifications. Install drywall, stucco, siding, trim carpentry, and perform finishing work to achieve smooth surfaces and professional appearances. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to cut, shape, assemble, and install various building components. Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and concrete finishing tasks to support foundation and structural work. Assist with metal building erection, roofing installation, masonry work, plastering, and restoration projects as needed. Maintain a clean and safe job site by following safety protocols and ensuring proper handling of tools and materials. Requirements Proven experience in construction or carpentry with knowledge of framing, drywall installation, roofing, and finishing techniques. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills and saws; and heavy equipment operation when necessary. Strong understanding of dimensional measurements, construction plans, metal stud framing, and schematics. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces safely. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise craftsmanship. Construction site experience with a focus on safety practices and teamwork. Knowledge of rebar installation, concrete forming & finishing, masonry techniques, welding basics, siding installation, remodeling tasks, drywall finishing, plastering or stucco application is highly desirable. $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 45.0 per week
