Compensation:
Experienced Carpenter:
Starting $25-30/ hour (DOE) General Laborer /
Entry-Level:
Starting at $18-24/hr (DOE) About Us Far-Out Builders has been building a reputation over the last 5 years, known for high-quality craftsmanship and a great work culture. We are currently expanding our team and hiring for two distinct roles : one seasoned Experienced Carpenter and one motivated General Laborer / Entry-Level Carpenter . Whether you are a master of the craft or looking to get your foot in the door of the trades, we want to hear from you. Position 1:
Experienced Carpenter What You'll Do:
Lead and execute residential/commercial carpentry projects from framing to finish work. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans. Install windows, doors, trim, cabinetry, and flooring with high attention to detail. Manage materials on-site and maintain a safe, clean working environment. Mentoring and guiding entry-level crew members.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
3 years of professional carpentry experience minimum
Skills:
Proficiency with all standard hand and power tools; strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
Tools:
Must have your own standard hand tools and reliable transportation to job sites.
Mindset:
A problem-solver who takes pride in their work and can work independently. Position 2: General Laborer /
Entry-Level Carpenter What You'll Do:
Assist experienced carpenters with measuring, cutting, and installing materials. Handle site prep, staging materials, and keeping the job site clean and safe. Learn to safely operate basic power tools and hand tools under supervision. Load and unload tools, lumber, and debris.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
None required! Construction experience is a plus, but a strong work ethic is mandatory.
Skills:
Ability to read a tape measure accurately and lift up to [50-75] lbs consistently.
Requirements:
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Mindset:
Punctual, eager to learn, takes direction well, and isn't afraid of hard physical work.
