Job Summary This position is working on a heavy industrial construction worksite. The Concrete Carpenter / Finisher will work with the job supervisor to complete projects under contract. A successful candidate will be able to collaborate with a team of professionals to complete these projects within the projected deadline and under budget. The project is for the United States Army Corps of Engineers and will require a background check to gain site access. Davis-Bacon wages will be paid. Essential Job Responsibilities Pour and finish concrete for flatwork and sitework projects. Finish concrete edges by hand and operate finishing equipment. Use machines to vibrate concrete and eliminate air pockets. Ability to read and interpret instructions. Document, plan, and perform work activities independently. Read and interpret blueprints. Perform all other job duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

2 years of form setting, rod-busting and concrete finishing experience in an industrial construction setting. TWIC Card and/or Real ID's are required. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

Preferred:

Must be able to clearly explain steps and provide clear directions. Must be able to complete and complete the paperwork required for purchase orders, time sheets, etc. and answer questions about the construction processes for field staff and other subcontractors. Must be willing to embrace the company's core values. Work Environment:

Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures. Manufacturing, pipeline, and refining environment. Fit and move in confined spaces including tanks and vessels. Limited working surfaces. Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors. Exposure to areas with limited visibility.
