Job Description
We are looking for a Carpenter to work at our growing company! We will train the right candidate so don't let a lack of experience hold you back. Pay is Depending on Experience. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of tools and basic construction skills. Working with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential. A great attitude and drive to have a finished product to be proud of are highly important. Responsibilities Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed Cut, shape and smooth materials according to measurements Build and install windows, doors, shower doors and other glass-related items Skills Proven experience as carpenter Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.) Ability to read technical documents and drawings Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times Good knowledge of English Good understanding of basic math Good physical condition and endurance Typical work week is Monday through Friday, 8 to 5.
