Job Description

We are seeking skilled and experienced carpenters to join our dynamic team at Glo, a boutique fenestration design and fabrication studio. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in carpentry, ideally with experience related to aluminum windows and doors. This individual will play a crucial role in the proper installation of all Glo products and also the troubleshooting and servicing of them.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Accountable for the installation and servicing of all Glo window and door products. + Interact professionally with Glo partners including architects, project managers, fabricators, and builders throughout the installation lifecycle to provide knowledgeable support and ensure a high level of installation execution. + Responsible for executing service claims from diagnosis through successful resolution, either at the job site or remotely, while tracking the progression of the service claim using Glo software. + Collaborates with service and installation supervisor for purchasing, billing, and tracking of work orders + Travels to job sites to assist with, oversee, or perform the installation of Glo window and door products. + Complete accurate and detailed documentation of installations, repairs, and maintenance work as needed + Assist with the crating, packaging, loading, and unloading of Glo products + Stay informed regarding new products, installation techniques, and industry trends to continually enhance skill set and knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS
+ Minimum 10 years carpentry experience with advanced, demonstrable knowledge. You must be able to operate unsupervised. + Advanced knowledge of window and door waterproofing and installation preferred. + Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and troubleshoot construction plans, window schedules and shop drawings + Experience in a customer facing role in the construction industry + Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials, stand for long periods of time, and work in various weather conditions. + Strong familiarity with information technology, paperless documentation, and job progress tracking + Highly organized approach to work and job execution + Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to partners in a clear and friendly manner + Possession of a valid driver's license with the ability to drive trucks and pull trailers + Ability to operate telehandlers and lift trucks a plus + Travel required

$30.00 - $38.00 per hour
