Job Description Evolve Construction & Metalworks is a steadly growing remodeling company seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master to lead and oversee complex construction and restoration projects. This pivotal role demands a master craftsman with a comprehensive understanding of various trades, including carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, roofing, siding, windows and doors and restoration industry standards. As a Master , you will coordinate the team to ensure project quality and safety, and deliver exceptional craftsmanship on every job. Your expertise will drive project success from initial planning through completion, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to all industry regulations. You must have a truck with the ability to haul tools, materials and trailers when needed. Responsibilities Lead and supervise construction and restoration projects, ensuring all work meets high-quality standards and safety protocols. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans. Perform and oversee skilled trades and tasks such as framing, trim carpentry, concrete forming, rebar installation, siding, roofing, tile laying, cabinetry installation, door hanging, drywall finishing, caulking, stucco application, flooring installation, metal stud framing, and electrical wiring. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete tasks with precision while maintaining safety standards. Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure timely project progression and resource availability. Manage heavy lifting operations safely during material handling or structural adjustments. Conduct quality inspections throughout each phase of construction or restoration to guarantee craftsmanship excellence. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards during all project activities. Assist in fabricating custom components or fixtures as needed for specialized projects or restorations. Oversee the installation of fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinetry, and other structural elements. Support the training of junior team members in specialized skills like CNC fabrication or masonry techniques when required. Experience Extensive hands-on experience in construction, carpentry (including trim and frame carpentry), masonry, roofing, electrical work, plumbing, drywall finishing, flooring installation (tile and wood), siding application, metal stud framing, plastering, stucco application, concrete forming and rebar installation. Proven track record working on construction sites with a strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation. Experience in restoration projects including water damage remediation and mold removal within the restoration industry. Prior involvement in remodeling projects involving demo, framing, electrical, plumbing, hvac, drywall repair, painting, trim. Managing subs and materials. Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques combined with safe operation of hand tools and power tools on active construction sites. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple trades simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
