Charlotte, NC Pay:
$18-$22 per hour, depending on experience Meridian DesignBuild, Ltd. is seeking a dependable Carpenter's Assistant to support our lead carpenter and project team on residential remodeling projects throughout the Greater Charlotte area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in a clean and organized job site, and is interested in learning about the residential construction and remodeling industry. Responsibilities Assist lead carpenter with daily construction activities Load, unload, and organize materials on job sites Pick up and deliver materials from suppliers Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas Protect finished surfaces and completed work Assist with demolition, framing, trim, and general carpentry tasks Perform punch-list and warranty work as directed Operate basic hand and power tools safely Help maintain company tools, equipment, and job site organization Qualifications Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to lift 100+ pounds and perform physical labor throughout the day Dependable, punctual, and professional Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Basic construction experience preferred but not required Basic hand tools required What We Offer Competitive hourly pay ($18-$22/hour) Consistent, year-round residential remodeling work Opportunity to learn skilled carpentry and remodeling trades Small team environment with direct mentorship and hands-on training If you're looking for a long-term opportunity to build construction skills and work with a company that values quality craftsmanship and professionalism, we'd love to hear from you!
