This is not an entry-level position . We're looking for someone who knows residential exterior carpentry and can walk up to a home, identify what's wrong, determine the proper repair, and get the job done correctly and efficiently. If you have experience with wood rot, siding, fascia, soffit, exterior trim, and residential repairs , we want to talk to you.

As this division grows, there will be an opportunity for the right person to lead helpers, train additional technicians, and take on greater responsibility within the company. What You'll Be Doing You'll perform exterior repairs on residential homes, often in preparation for exterior painting projects.
Typical work includes:
Rotten wood removal and replacement Fascia and soffit repairs Exterior trim replacement Wood siding repairs Fiber cement / Hardie siding repairs Window and door trim repairs PVC/composite trim installation Minor framing and sheathing repairs Deck and porch repairs Identifying water-damaged or deteriorated materials Diagnosing problems discovered after damaged materials are removed Communicating additional repair needs when hidden damage is discovered Completing repairs efficiently and leaving the jobsite clean and professional Every house is different, so we're looking for someone who can think through problems instead of needing step-by-step instructions. Who We're Looking For You'll be a strong fit if you: Have several years of residential carpentry, remodeling, siding, or exterior repair experience Are highly experienced with exterior wood rot and trim repairs Understand how water gets into exterior building components and how repairs should be made Can confidently use common carpentry tools and equipment Can look at a repair and determine the best way to complete it Work efficiently without sacrificing quality Show up when you say you will Communicate professionally with homeowners and coworkers Keep your work area organized and clean Can work independently without constant supervision Are comfortable working from ladders and at heights Want an opportunity to grow into a leadership position Experience with siding installation, Hardie/fiber cement, PVC trim, flashing, exterior remodeling, or water-damage repair is a major plus. This Position Probably Isn't For You If... You're primarily a finish carpenter, cabinet builder, or interior trim carpenter with little exterior experience. We're specifically looking for someone who understands residential exterior repairs and the problems caused by weather, moisture, and deterioration. We're also not looking for someone who needs to be constantly managed. We want someone who can be given a scope of work, evaluate the situation, communicate when something changes, and take ownership of getting the repair completed correctly.
