Lead Shed Builder

We are looking for a motivated individual to lead our shed building crew! Looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, team leader who can handle a lot of responsibilities for our Mooresville location. Job will entail leading a crew of builders, while also performing construction labor as part of the team. About us SquareShed is an on-site shed building company, with a shop location based in Mooresville servicing all of Charlotte. We provide a high quality product with an even better customer experience. Our team is small but growing, and we are looking for motivated individuals to help take our business to the next level.

Responsibilities:

Lead a 2-3 person crew in on-site shed construction. Communicate directly with customers on site, when needed. Pull our company trailer to and from the jobsites. Take responsibility with our shop work and organization. Utilize carpentry tools and equipment to build custom sheds. Cut lumber, frame walls, install siding/windows/doors, and install shingles. Carry and haul materials to and from the build site. Ensure cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the construction process. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

12 months construction/skilled trade experience is required Experience pulling a trailer is preferred. Experience leading or managing a team is preferred (even informally). Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation. Must show up on time, communicate well, work hard, and be open to learning. Capable of bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Comfortable using power tools and working with hands. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Weekdays, 4-5 days per week, semi-flexible scheduling
