Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks that contribute to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in various carpentry disciplines, including framing, finishing, and remodeling, while adhering to safety standards and construction plans. Duties Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks. Construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, floors, roofs, and frameworks using hand tools and power tools. Perform metal building erection and metal stud framing with precision and safety. Execute concrete forming, rebar installation, and concrete finishing to ensure structural integrity. Engage in masonry work including plastering, stucco application, and siding installation for various building types. Read tape measures and perform dimensional measurements to ensure accurate cuts and placements. Handle heavy lifting safely while managing multiple tasks on active construction sites. Utilize woodworking skills for trim carpentry, framing, remodeling projects, and restoration work. Install drywall, perform roofing tasks, and apply siding materials according to project specifications. Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to guide project execution effectively. Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools efficiently while maintaining safety protocols. Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure project timelines are met. Assist in site preparation, cleanup, and material handling to support overall project progress. Skills Proven experience in construction site environments with a focus on carpentry disciplines such as framing, trim work, drywall installation, and roofing. Strong knowledge of metal building erection, concrete forming, masonry techniques, welding, and rebar installation. Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other essential carpentry equipment. Solid understanding of basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations on-site. Experience with construction management principles is a plus for coordinating tasks effectively. Skilled in working with various materials including wood, metal studs, drywall, stucco, siding materials, and concrete components. Excellent physical condition with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely over extended periods. Knowledge of safety standards relevant to construction sites to maintain a secure working environment. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and interpreting project requirements.
