Job Description
About this role We are hiring experienced metal stud carpenters to work on a pharmaceutical/industrial facility project in Raleigh, NC. This is hands-on commercial work in a high-spec, fast-paced environment - ideal for framers who know interior partitions, track and stud installation, and tight tolerances. You will work on-site full time on a multi-month project, following layout and drawings, collaborating with other trades, and maintaining quality and safety standards. Reliable attendance, solid carpentry skills, and the ability to work efficiently on a production schedule are required. What you'll do Install and align metal stud framing systems, tracks, and accessories for interior nonbearing partitions Read and follow drawings, layout plans, and construction directions to set stud locations and openings Measure, cut, and fit metal studs, tracks, bracing, and blocking to specified tolerances Coordinate daily with other trades (HVAC, electrical, drywall) to maintain schedule and clearances Maintain tools, materials, and a clean, safe work area; follow site safety rules and PPE requirements Report issues or discrepancies in drawings or layout to superintendence and assist with on-site solutions What we're looking for Proven experience framing with metal studs on commercial projects, including interior partitions Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and layout plans Strong measuring, cutting, and fastening skills using hand and power tools Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site layout practices Experience working in fast-paced, specification-driven commercial or industrial jobsites Reliable attendance, ability to follow direction, and work collaboratively with crews Qualifications 3+ years metal stud framing experience on commercial projects preferred Ability to read construction drawings and perform layout OSHA 10-hour (preferred) or equivalent safety training Able to pass background check and drug screen Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the Raleigh site Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials (typical construction lifting) What we offer Steady, multi-month project work on-site in Raleigh, NC Overtime opportunities as project needs require Site-provided PPE and site-specific safety training On-site parking and secure staging/tool storage Hands-on experience with high-spec commercial metal stud systems and coordination Ready to apply?
