This company has been in business since 1994 and is looking for an individual with a solid understanding of rough and finish carpentry methods and techniques, refined carpentry skills, and the ability to interact professionally with trade contractors and clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for the day-to-day execution and management of assigned remodeling and/or construction projects, including sub-trades and crew members.
  • Represents the company as the on-site client liaison and advocate, resolving issues as they arise and/or setting them up for proper resolution and seeing them through.
  • Collaborates with the relevant Design, Sales, and Production team members to ensure a thorough understanding of the design, scope and specifications throughout the duration of the project.
  • Manages and monitors job costs and workflow to ensure each project meets or exceeds the anticipated budgeted costs and is completed within the anticipated scheduled timeframe.
This includes documenting progress by completing daily logs; and using established company cost codes, accurately coding all labor (and ensuring other team members do the same) using our time-tracking system; and accurately coding all material invoices and submitting them to the office weekly. Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
  • Knowledgeable in all phases of residential remodeling and construction procedures, with a minimum of eight (8) years' carpentry experience.
  • Motivated, self-starter, detail oriented, highly organized with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Extensive rough carpentry experience such as floor, deck, wall, and roof framing, including layout knowledge of foundations, rafters, and stairs, and structural load-path knowledge.
  • Extensive finish carpentry experience including trim, cabinetry installation, and interior finishes.
  • Good working knowledge of all related building codes and building trades with willingness and commitment to ongoing learning to stay current.
  • Ability to interact and communicate well with clients, team members, vendors, and specialty trade contractors.
  • The ability to take direction well while also able to lead, supervise, direct, mentor, and teach other team members.
  • Excellent listening and comprehension skills, and the ability to interact and communicate well with clients, team members, vendors, and trade contractors.
  • Ability to understand construction drawings, scopes of work, specifications, contracts, drawing notes, and business correspondence.
  • Ability and willingness to use, learn and embrace new technology, apps and software as they relate to your work and this industry (i.e., Smartphones, computers, iPads, tablets and all related apps and software).
  • Must be an excellent judge of quality.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to work within deadlines. Maintain a valid driver's license and state required insurance. Dress and groom neatly and professionally. Benefits
