In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities through a wide range of repair, maintenance, and carpentry tasks. Your expertise will help create a comfortable, efficient environment for both staff and visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mechanical knowledge, electrical skills, and craftsmanship while contributing to the smooth operation of our facilities. Responsibilities Perform general repairs and maintenance on building interiors, including drywall repairs, painting, and carpentry work to maintain a clean and professional environment Conduct electrical work such as wiring, troubleshooting electrical equipment, and repairing electrical systems using schematics and tools like ohmmeters Maintain plumbing systems through repairs, leak detection, pipe replacement, and plumbing system maintenance to ensure optimal operation Repair and service HVAC systems including routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and HVAC system repair to ensure climate control efficiency Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to execute various repair tasks with precision Conduct facilities equipment maintenance including mechanical components, electrical equipment repair, and MRO (maintenance, repair & operations) activities Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and communicating clearly with team members and facility users Qualifications Proven experience in handyman services, carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, or related fields Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools Familiarity with schematics for electrical systems and the use of testing devices such as ohmmeters or multimeters Ability to read technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration Experience with welding techniques and electrical equipment repair is highly desirable Knowledge of building interior maintenance standards as well as facilities maintenance practices Ability to work independently or lead small teams on maintenance projects when needed Valid certifications related to electrical work or HVAC systems are a plus Join us in maintaining a safe, functional space where quality meets craftsmanship!
