Bridge Crew Carpenter Position Type:

Schedule:
Monday-Friday with occasional weekends and travel as needed Position Overview A growing heavy civil construction team is seeking an experienced and dependable Carpenter to join its Bridge Crew. This role involves building, repairing, and assembling structural components for bridge and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, hardworking, and experienced working in outdoor construction environments. Responsibilities Construct and install concrete forms, falsework, and bridge decking systems Read and interpret blueprints, layout drawings, and project specifications Measure, cut, and assemble wood, steel, and other materials accurately Assist with concrete pours, finishing, and structural repairs Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely Work closely with foremen, operators, and labor crews to complete projects efficiently Maintain a clean and organized job site Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures Qualifications Previous carpentry or bridge construction experience preferred Ability to read tape measures and construction plans Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Valid driver's license preferred Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor daily Benefits Competitive pay with advancement opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan options Paid time off and holidays Per diem and travel accommodations for qualifying projects On-the-job training and career development #HSS2
