Job Overview We are seeking a versatile and skilled Multipurpose Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks across residential, commercial, and restoration projects. Your expertise will help bring construction plans to life, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute carpentry tasks. Measure, cut, assemble, and install various wood and metal components using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Perform framing, siding, roofing, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, and metal stud framing with precision. Install fixtures such as cabinets, countertops, doors, windows, moldings, and other trim elements. Conduct concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, flooring installation, tile laying, and water damage restoration as needed. Operate woodworking machines safely for fabrication and custom woodwork projects. Assist with renovation projects including remodeling, restoration industry tasks, plumbing rough-ins, and construction painting. Ensure all work complies with safety protocols such as power tool safety guidelines while maintaining a clean and organized job site. Support heavy lifting activities and assist in fabricating custom components for various construction applications. Skills Extensive experience in construction estimating and interpreting technical drawings. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, CNC machines, and woodworking machinery. Strong background in carpentry disciplines including residential carpentry, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, roofing, siding, and fixture installation. Knowledge of construction site safety procedures related to power tools and heavy lifting. Ability to read blueprints accurately and translate plans into tangible structures or installations. Familiarity with building materials such as wood construction materials, rebar for concrete forming, stucco finishes, siding materials, cabinetry components, flooring options including tile laying. Experience in the restoration industry including water damage restoration techniques and plastering or stucco application. Skills in fabrication processes involving metal or wood components; experience with CNC machining is a plus. Capable of performing plumbing rough-ins or masonry work when required; previous handyman experience is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently on construction sites or during remodeling projects. $25.00 - $31.36 per hour
