We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic residential construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling and restoration to new builds, utilizing your hands-on skills and technical knowledge. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a collaborative work environment. Duties Perform skilled carpentry work, including framing, finishing, and cabinetry, siding, deck, bathroom remodels and interior/exterior painting. Install fixtures, doors, siding, cabinetry, and other building components with precision. Support installation of plumbing, electrical systems, flooring, tile laying, and HVAC components. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various carpentry functions and maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project plans. Handle heavy lifting and material handling to ensure smooth workflow on-site. Follow safety protocols diligently while working at heights or in confined spaces. Requirements Reliable transportation and valid driver's license are required. Must have your own tools. Any specialty tools will be provided, as needed. Proven experience in remodeling/construction site work with a strong background in carpentry and general labor tasks. Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and schematic diagrams. Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels; power tools including drills and saws. Familiarity with various construction disciplines including framing, roofing, siding, drywall installation (including plastering), flooring installation, tile laying, and fixture hanging. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and sustain physical activity throughout the workday. Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites. Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately to work independently.
