Job Description
Job Overview I am seeking a motivated Carpenter/Laborer to join our construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on residential and commercial projects, utilizing your carpentry expertise and hands-on skills. The ideal candidate is energetic, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new techniques in a fast-paced environment. This paid position provides valuable experience in various aspects of construction, from framing to finishing touches, ensuring career growth and skill development. This position is a temporary position with 4-6 weeks of work with potential to become full time, experience is not necessary. •candidate must provide their own hand tools i.e. tool bags, square, tape measure, pencils, hammer, etc, all other site tools provided• Duties Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, metal stud framing tools, and woodworking machines safely and effectively. Have the ability to work at great heights on mult-story units. Assist with framing, drywall installation, siding, and trim carpentry to complete residential and commercial projects. Follow construction safety protocols including power tool safety practices while maintaining a clean and organized worksite. Knowledge of construction site safety standards including proper use of power tools and handling of construction materials like wood and metal studs. Capable of heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during fabrication or assembly tasks.
