Job Description

Join our dynamic construction team as an Apprentice Carpenter / Laborer, where you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of carpentry and construction. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment, working alongside seasoned professionals on diverse projects including remodeling, restoration, framing, and finishing. Assist skilled carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials using hand tools and power tools Support framing, drywall installation, trim carpentry, and door hanging tasks to ensure project progress Prepare construction sites by cleaning debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials Participate in concrete forming, rebar installation, roofing, siding, and masonry work as needed Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and assist with fixture installation and remodeling tasks Perform heavy lifting and material handling safely to maintain efficient workflow on-site Contribute to restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold removal, plastering, and stucco application Basic knowledge of construction estimating and blueprint reading to support project planning Experience with hand tools, power tools, metal stud framing, CNC machinery, and woodworking techniques Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and ability to perform heavy lifting safely Skills in flooring installation, tile laying, cabinetry setup, electrical wiring basics, plumbing support, and drywall finishing preferred Ability to follow schematics accurately for fixture installation and metal stud framing projects Strong communication skills for teamwork and understanding project instructions Prior experience in the restoration industry or water damage restoration is a plus but not required This position is designed for motivated individuals looking to grow their expertise in carpentry and construction.
