Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated lead carpenter to join the Legacy Lake Builder's team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry, construction, and restoration projects with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects on the lake. The ideal candidate must be able to step confidently into a leadership role, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions independently with minimal supervision. This position also requires hands-on project management responsibilities, including preparing estimates for smaller projects and coordinating material orders to ensure jobs run efficiently and on schedule. Must have experience in framing and general understanding of wood construction. Our work is mainly focused on docking, boathouses, building stabilization and island construction. NH boating license or equivalent is a plus. We have year-round work - most of our work is outdoors and we work in all weather conditions. We have multiple boats and barges, providing setups that make work easy and efficient. Responsibilities Perform carpentry tasks including, building stabilization and finishing work using hand tools and power tools. Prepare accurate labor and material estimates for projects and smaller job scopes. Coordinate and generate material orders to ensure projects are properly supplied and remain on schedule. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols at all times. Pay:
$45.00 - $65.00 per hour
