We're growing fast and we're looking for a skilled all-around carpenter who can take a project from demo through finished trim and take pride in every cut. We're looking for someone who is open-minded, has patience, client driven, respectful, does the right thing, never settles, and someone who sweats the small stuff on a job. This isn't slap-it-together work. We build clean, we keep our sites organized, and the finish work is what our clients judge us on. If you do it right the first time and you're tired of crews that don't, keep reading. Responsibilities Set up and run a clean site. Protect the home, stage your materials and tools, and leave it clean and safe at the end of every day. These are people's houses — we treat them that way. Demo. Take it apart without wrecking what stays, and know to stop and flag what's behind the wall — rot, bad framing, surprises — before it gets covered up. Frame. Walls, floors, ceilings, headers, and blocking — square, plumb, level, and to plan, so everything downstream goes smooth and inspections pass the first time. Trim. Base, casing, crown, doors, built-ins, stairs. Tight miters, clean reveals, scribed to old shore-home walls so it looks right. This is the work clients run their hand across. Hang drywall. Clean, flat, tight board, ready for our finisher.
