Job Description
Lead Foreman / Lead Carpenter Overview Frame Up Contracting LLC is seeking a highly skilled, dependable, and motivated Lead Foreman / Lead Carpenter to join our growing residential remodeling team. In this leadership role, you will oversee a variety of high-end residential renovation projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, decks, and whole-home remodels. You will be responsible for leading a small crew, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, enjoys solving problems, and is confident leading projects from demolition through final punch list while delivering an outstanding customer experience. Duties Lead and supervise a small crew on residential remodeling projects. Read and interpret blueprints, architectural plans, construction drawings, and specifications. Plan daily work activities to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Coordinate with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and other subcontractors. Perform and oversee framing, finish carpentry, cabinet installation, trim work, flooring, drywall, doors, windows, and general remodeling tasks. Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards and local building codes. Troubleshoot field issues and make sound decisions to keep projects moving forward. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite while enforcing company safety procedures. Pick up materials, verify deliveries, and maintain inventory of jobsite materials. Maintain company trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment. Complete punch list items and final walkthroughs before project completion. Communicate daily with project management regarding schedules, progress, materials, and jobsite concerns. Provide professional customer service while working in occupied homes. Qualifications Minimum 7 years of residential remodeling or carpentry experience. Previous experience leading crews and managing residential construction projects. Strong knowledge of kitchens, bathrooms, additions, basements, decks, and finish carpentry. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings independently. Skilled with hand tools, power tools, laser levels, and layout equipment. Strong understanding of residential building methods and construction safety practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. English speaking required. Green Card or U.S. Citizen preferred. Must own basic hand tools and tool belt. Ability to lift 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
