Overview We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team and bring craftsmanship excellence to our diverse projects. This role involves precise carpentry work, finishing touches, and detailed installation tasks that elevate our scenic and prop creations. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install custom woodwork, trim, cabinetry, and fixtures according to construction plans and technical drawings Read blueprints and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of projects Use hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and effectively Perform residential carpentry tasks such as door hanging, siding installation, flooring, tile laying, and stucco application Fabricate components for set pieces or props with precision and attention to detail Assist with restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold remediation, or structural repairs Handle heavy lifting safely during material transport and installation processes Requirements Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter or in similar construction roles with a focus on residential or commercial projects Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, metal stud framing, concrete forming, plastering, caulking, and rebar installation Familiarity with wood construction materials such as siding, trim, flooring materials, and fixtures Experience working on construction sites with safety awareness of power tool safety standards Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in finishing work Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Join our team to craft exceptional environments that inspire!
