Nexeo Staffing is hiring an experienced Stair Installer / Finish Carpenter to support a custom architectural manufacturing company in Las Vegas, NV— This is a great opportunity for a skilled craftsman with experience in high-end stair systems, railings, and interior woodwork. In this role, you will work both in the shop and on-site, producing and installing precision-built components for residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities- Perform accurate measurements, layout, and calculations for stair installations
- Cut, shape, and assemble components including treads, risers, stringers, and handrails
- Interpret architectural blueprints and shop drawings to execute detailed builds
- Work with wood and metal materials to meet custom project specifications
- Install stair systems on-site with proper alignment, fit, and finish
- Troubleshoot and adapt to installation challenges in the field
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicle as required
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and internal teams
- Follow all OSHA and company safety standards Qualifications
- Proven experience as a finish carpenter, stair builder, or stair installer
- Strong knowledge of custom stair construction and installation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements
- Proficiency with carpentry tools including saws, routers, and drills
- Experience working with wood materials and fabrication techniques
- High level of precision, attention to detail, and craftsmanship
- Strong problem-solving ability in active job site environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working in shop environments, job sites, and at heights
- Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and perform physically demanding work Work Environment
- Combination of shop fabrication and field installation work
- Exposure to dust, noise, and construction environments
- Work may include outdoor job sites depending on project location
