Lead Carpenter Job Description We are seeking a Lead Carpenter to oversee and perform commercial millwork installation, including KD metal frames, hollow metal doors, cabinetry, and countertops on active job sites. This role requires leadership skills to guide installation crews and the ability to interpret blueprints while ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Lead installation crews on commercial millwork projects. Interpret and work from blueprints to ensure accurate installation. Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards. Essential Skills 5+ years of commercial carpentry/millwork experience, especially with KD metal frames and hollow metal doors. Proficient in construction tasks including drywall, carpentry, framing, millwork, and finish. OSHA 10 Certification and safety-oriented mindset. Reliable transportation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with hand and power tools. Strong understanding of construction and carpentry principles. Ability to work effectively in active commercial job sites. Work Environment Work primarily at active commercial job sites across various sectors such as office, retail, healthcare, education, and industrial. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime available. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brewerton, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
