Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing and trim carpentry to restoration and remodeling. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to high-quality craftsmanship. Whether you're experienced in blueprint reading, concrete forming, or working with power tools, this position provides a platform to showcase your skills while growing professionally in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone to work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week (M-F) for the next few months. Depending on performance this could lead to a permanent position. The hourly wage is based on the job and experience. Responsibilities Assist in framing, drywall installation, and finishing work using hand tools and power tools Perform carpentry tasks including door hanging, cabinet installation, siding, and fixture mounting Conduct heavy lifting of materials such as lumber, rebar, and concrete forms safely and efficiently Install roofing materials, flooring, tile, or masonry components as directed by supervisors Assist with fabrication tasks including metal stud framing, CNC machining, or custom woodwork Maintain a clean and safe work site by adhering to safety protocols and proper tool handling Skills Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, grinders) Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate construction work Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material calculations Skilled in various carpentry disciplines such as trim carpentry, framing carpentry, and metal stud framing Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique Familiarity with installation of doors, windows, siding, cabinetry, and fixtures Experience in restoration industry tasks including plastering, water damage restoration, mold remediation and rebar installation Understanding of electrical experience related to fixture installation or basic wiring tasks Capable of working on construction sites with adherence to safety standards in diverse environments such as manufacturing facilities or residential projects Join our team if you're passionate about building quality structures while developing your skills across multiple facets of carpentry and construction.
