Job Description
COLUMBIA-GREENE
Meerkat Pest Control is currently hiring Carpenters and Lead Carpenters to join our team in the Columbia-Greene market.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Perform basic carpentry repairs including sheetrock, fascia/soffit repairs, termite damage repair
- Bending metal with a brake and installing our Metal-X Pest Proofing System
- Replacing/repairing fascia, soffit, ridge vents, louver vents as needed
- Repairing entry points, excluding wildlife from re-entering structures and performing damage repair
- Trapping and/or evicting nuisance wild animals from residential and commercial structures
- Working with foreman, office and estimators to perform job to customer/company specification
SKILLS NEEDED
Have a great attitude and have great customer service skills Must be able to work with heights approximately 15-40 feet and be comfortable working on a roof. Must be able to set-up an OSHA approved safe work environment on the roof Must be able to bend metal with a brake Must have good knowledge of basic carpentry and basic light masonryMEERKAT IS OFFERING
