Hoosick Valley Contractors | Capital Region, NY Full-Time | Hourly Position Hoosick Valley Contractors is a growing, third-generation commercial construction company with a strong reputation throughout the Capital Region. Our projects include schools, public buildings, libraries, churches, and other commercial facilities. We take pride in quality workmanship, teamwork, and doing the job right. We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team. What You'll Do Perform general carpentry and finish carpentry work on commercial construction projects Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Complete work according to project plans, specifications, and quality standards Identify potential issues and communicate them to the Superintendent Follow all company and OSHA safety requirements What We're Looking For 5+ years of carpentry or construction experience preferred Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and tools Ability to read plans and take accurate measurements Ability to work independently while also being a team player Good communication skills and a positive attitude Commitment to safety and quality workmanship Valid driver's license We are willing to consider residential carpenters who have strong skills and are interested in making the transition to commercial construction.
