Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse residential and commercial projects, contributing to high-quality craftsmanship and efficient project completion. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow within the construction industry. Whether performing carpentry tasks or assisting with general labor duties, you will play a vital role in transforming blueprints into real-world structures while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of projects. Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, siding, and fixture installation. Operate woodworking machines safely for tasks such as cutting, shaping, and assembling wood components. Assist with construction site activities including heavy lifting, concrete forming, rebar installation, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, caulking, and water damage restoration. Perform demolition work or restoration tasks such as mold remediation or water damage repair while adhering to safety standards. Install various building components like doors, cabinets, flooring, siding, and fixtures with precision. Support team members in interpreting technical drawings and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution. Maintain a clean and organized work site by managing materials like wood construction materials and ensuring proper storage of tools and equipment. Follow power tool safety protocols diligently when operating equipment for woodworking or framing. Assist with heavy lifting tasks and the setup of scaffolding or temporary structures as needed. Experience Previous construction experience with a focus on residential carpentry or general labor roles is highly preferred. Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings is essential for precise work execution. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, metal stud framing, drywall installation, flooring installation, and fixture mounting is required. Knowledge of construction estimating processes can be advantageous but is not mandatory. Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety procedures related to power tools and heavy lifting is necessary. Industry-specific skills such as stucco application, rebar installation, plastering, siding work, or restoration industry experience are a plus. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards is essential for success in this role. $26.85 - $60.00 per hour
