Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, dependable individual to join our team building custom display boards, shipping crates, and pallets in a shop environment. This position is ideal for a retired or semi-retired tradesperson, former union worker, carpenter, tile installer, handyman, cabinet maker, or anyone with strong hands-on construction and fabrication experience who wants steady work with a flexible schedule. We have enough work available for up to 40 hours per week but are willing to work with the right candidate's availability. Responsibilities Build custom display boards and showroom displays Perform light carpentry and assembly work Construct shipping crates and pallets for finished products Measure, cut, assemble, and finish materials accurately Operate common hand tools and power tools safely Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist with packaging and preparing completed projects for shipment Qualifications Experience in carpentry, construction, installation, woodworking, tile work, or general handyman services Ability to read a tape measure and work accurately from dimensions Comfortable using hand tools and power tools Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Ability to lift and move materials as needed What We Offer Steady year-round work Flexible scheduling options Up to 40 hours available per week Relaxed shop environment Opportunity to use your trade skills without the demands of a construction job site Retired and semi-retired tradespeople are encouraged to apply.
