Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from framing and trim carpentry to restoration and remodeling. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for performing diverse carpentry tasks, assisting with construction site operations, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards. This paid position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills in construction and hands-on craftsmanship while contributing to meaningful projects. Responsibilities Measure, cut, assemble, and install various building components using hand tools and power tools, including framing, trim carpentry, cabinetry, siding, roofing, and drywall installation. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Assist with masonry work, and plastering tasks as needed. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for construction site operations. Prepare surfaces through caulking, sanding, painting, or other finishing techniques; install fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinets, and hardware. Follow safety protocols diligently while working with scaffolding, metal studs, roofing materials, electrical components, plumbing fixtures, or other specialized systems. Qualifications Prior experience in construction or related fields such as manufacturing or remodeling is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Familiarity with hand tools (hammers, saws, drills), power tools (nail guns, grinders), and basic construction equipment is essential. Ability to read blueprints or schematics; experience with construction estimating is a plus. Knowledge of various trades including carpentry (frame and trim), masonry, roofing, plumbing or electrical work is advantageous. Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship in all tasks performed. Valid driver's license preferred; safety certifications such as OSHA training are a plus but not mandatory. Join us in building exceptional spaces!
