A family-owned property manager and owner is seeking a highly skilled craftsman to work in various capacities as part of an in-house team that is responsible for ongoing renovations. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a wide array of construction and renovation work is required. The successful candidate's skill set will encompass rough carpentry (framing and sheet-rock), cabinetry installation, trim work and door installation, plumbing, electrical, tile installation, appliance installation, painting, finishes, surgical demolition and cleanup. The work will focus on various apartments in various buildings. This job is perfect for the person who loves GC work and seeks a predictable flow of jobs in a select number of pre-established locations. Note that there will be a brief period of time during which the successful candidate will work with a building's maintenance staff in order to assess skills and compatibility.

Salary range:

$25 to $28 p/hr (depending on experience) plus reimbursement of expenses.
