In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures across various projects. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, ensuring safety, quality, and durability in every build. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing and drywall installation to metal building erection and remodeling efforts. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about craftsmanship and construction excellence. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans. Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures, rulers, and other tools to ensure proper fit and finish. Construct frameworks for walls, ceilings, floors, roofs, and other structures using wood, metal studs, or concrete forms. Install drywall, plastering materials, stucco finishes, siding, trim carpentry elements, and other interior/exterior surfaces. Perform metal building erection tasks including steel framing and metal stud framing with precision and safety. Handle concrete forming processes such as rebar installation and finishing to create durable foundations and structures. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely for tasks like roofing, demolition, restoration work, or siding installation. Collaborate with project managers to interpret construction plans accurately while adhering to safety standards. Assist with masonry work when required, including laying bricks or blocks as part of larger building projects. Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards. Requirements Proven experience in construction environments with a focus on carpentry tasks such as framing, drywall installation, or remodeling. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical schematics related to construction projects. Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, saws), power tools (drills, saws), and heavy equipment operation when necessary. Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately using tape measures and other measuring devices. Experience with metal building erection, rebar installation, concrete forming & finishing is highly desirable. Knowledge of safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Basic math skills for calculating measurements, quantities of materials needed, and layout planning. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces as required by construction sites. Strong communication skills for interpreting technical drawings and collaborating effectively with team members.
