Job Description
Studio D Design Build is looking for a motivated Junior Carpenter to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone with basic carpentry knowledge and experience who is eager to learn from experienced craftsmen and grow into a skilled finish carpenter. You'll work alongside our Lead Carpenter and Project Manager on high-end residential remodeling projects, custom trim, cabinetry, interior renovations, and other custom woodworking projects. We take pride in quality craftsmanship and attention to detail, and we're looking for someone who shares those values. Responsibilities Assist Lead Carpenter with daily job site tasks. Measure, cut, and install building materials. Help install trim, doors, cabinetry, built-ins, and other finish carpentry. Load and unload materials and maintain organized job sites. Operate hand and power tools safely. Perform demolition and site preparation as needed. Keep work areas clean and ensure projects meet Studio D's quality standards. Learn new carpentry techniques and continue developing your skills. Qualifications 2-5 years of carpentry or construction experience preferred (or trade school equivalent). Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Strong work ethic and reliability. Valid driver's license and dependable transportation. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
