Job Description
Build Work You're Proud to Put Your Name On All-In-One Contracting & Home Improvement is looking for an experienced remodeling professional who takes pride in quality work and wants to be part of a growing local company. We complete a wide variety of residential projects, including bathrooms, kitchens, additions, decks, flooring, interior renovations, exterior repairs, and general home improvements. Because our projects vary, we are looking for someone with broad remodeling experience who can think through challenges, communicate with the team, and help move projects forward. This is not a production-line construction position. Every home and every customer is different. We need someone who cares about the details, respects the customer's property, and understands that the experience we provide is just as important as the finished work. Responsibilities Depending on your experience, your work may include: Bathroom and kitchen remodeling Framing and general carpentry Finish carpentry and trim installation Cabinet and vanity installation Window and door installation Drywall installation and repairs Flooring installation Deck and exterior repair work Demolition and jobsite preparation Punch-list work and final project details Reading project scopes and following specifications Identifying jobsite concerns before they become larger problems Communicating progress, material needs, and project challenges Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized jobsite Working respectfully inside occupied homes Helping guide less-experienced team members when needed Who We're Looking For The right person for this position: Has hands-on residential remodeling or carpentry experience Can complete work independently without constant supervision Takes pride in clean, professional craftsmanship Shows up consistently and on time Communicates honestly when there is a question or problem Can follow a written scope of work Understands how different trades affect one another Is comfortable working directly with homeowners Protects the customer's home and keeps the work area organized Is willing to learn new products, systems, and installation methods Works well as part of a team Wants a long-term opportunity with a growing company Experience with tile, flooring, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, or exterior remodeling is helpful but not required in every category. We would rather hire someone who is highly skilled in several areas and willing to learn than someone who claims to know everything. Requirements Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Reliable transportation to our shop or assigned jobsites Ability to safely lift and carry construction materials Ability to use common hand and power tools Professional appearance and communication Residential remodeling or carpentry experience Ability to work Monday through Friday Willingness to travel to projects throughout our Northeast Ohio service area Ability to pass any job-related screening required by the company Why Work With All-In-One?
