Job Description
Overview We are seeking 2 skilled Carpenters to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. The Carpenter will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards. Responsibilities Construct, install, and repair structures such as frameworks, walls, roofs, and cabinets. Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools and power tools. Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to specifications. Perform trim carpentry tasks including installation of moldings and baseboards. Execute masonry work as needed for various projects. Apply caulking to seal joints and seams in construction projects. Restore and refurbish existing structures to improve their functionality or aesthetics. Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians and plumbers to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in carpentry. Experience with cabinet installation and construction painting is preferred. Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in carpentry. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
