Mecca Talent on behalf of a confidential client Position Overview Certified Staffing is seeking an experienced Residential Carpenter for a well-established construction company specializing in high-end custom homes, residential renovations, additions, and remodeling projects throughout Northeast Ohio. This is a hands-on position for a skilled carpenter who takes pride in craftsmanship and is comfortable working across multiple phases of residential construction. The ideal candidate will have experience with both rough and finish carpentry and the ability to work independently while also collaborating with superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, and other members of the construction team. We're looking for someone who understands that quality residential construction requires attention to detail and takes pride in leaving behind work that is done correctly. Key Responsibilities Perform rough and finish carpentry on custom residential construction and remodeling projects Frame walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, additions, and other structural components Install doors, windows, trim, baseboards, crown molding, cabinetry, hardware, and other finish materials Complete interior and exterior carpentry work Perform demolition and preparation work for residential renovation projects Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and project specifications Accurately measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials Complete punch-list and final-detail work Identify construction or installation issues and assist with developing practical solutions Coordinate daily work with the project Superintendent and other trades Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites Properly operate and maintain hand tools and power tools Follow company and jobsite safety requirements Protect completed work and homeowner property throughout the construction process Assist with material handling, deliveries, and jobsite organization when necessary Qualifications Previous experience in residential carpentry, remodeling, custom home construction, or a related construction trade Strong understanding of residential construction methods and building practices Experience with rough and/or finish carpentry Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install materials Comfortable using common carpentry hand and power tools Ability to read construction drawings, blueprints, and measurements Understanding of proper framing and installation techniques Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and follow direction from project leadership Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to safely perform the physical requirements associated with residential construction Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following are strongly encouraged to apply: High-end or luxury residential construction Custom home building Whole-home renovations and additions Rough framing Finish carpentry Door and window installation Cabinet installation Interior trim and molding Decks, porches, and exterior carpentry Punch-list and warranty work What We're Looking For We're looking for a true craftsman who takes ownership of their work .
