We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of carpentry and general labor tasks on residential projects. You will be assisting our Lead Carpenters with basic tasks such as: Removal of Construction debris Handling of tools Unwrapping of Cabinetry Organizing/Cleaning work site by end of shift Preparing/Handing materials needed by lead carpenters for specific tasks Your energy, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will help ensure the successful completion of high-quality construction work. This position offers the opportunity to develop your skills in woodworking, framing, cabinetry installation and more while contributing to projects that transform spaces and improve communities. This job is beneficial for up-and-coming students at a trade school in need of experience at work sites or someone who would like to learn more about working in the construction industry. Responsibilities Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, drywall installation, and fixture installation with precision and safety. Support the installation of wood construction materials including trim carpentry, cabinetry, and fixtures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to power tool safety protocols and site safety standards. Assist with remodeling efforts by performing general handyman tasks as needed. Experience Previous construction experience is
NOT REQUIRED
; familiarity with residential carpentry is highly preferred but not necessary. Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, power tools for woodworking is preferred but can be taught.
