Deck Carpenter, Laborer

Join our dynamic team as a Deck Carpenter, Laborer, where you'll play a vital role in constructing deck and related structures. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your carpentry skills and construction experience to bring outdoor spaces to life. We are a small custom deck building business looking for a full time carpenter to assist in building these decks. We are a team of younger 20-30 year olds. Little to no experience is necessary. You will learn a lot of carpentry with us! We work in the following areas: Sylvania, Perrysburg, Toledo, Bowling Green, Maumee, etc. Assist in the construction of fully composite custom decks Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution. Prepare work sites by framing, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials such as wood, metal studs, or composite materials. Perform heavy lifting and material handling to transport lumber, fixtures, and equipment safely around job sites. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. Collaborate with team members on project timelines and quality standards to ensure timely delivery of finished work. Some background construction experience is recommended Ability to lift heavily is recommended Prior experience in construction site work or carpentry is highly preferred; familiarity with framing, trim carpentry, or deck installation is a plus. Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, saws, drills), power tools (nail guns, saws), and very basic schematics reading is preferred.
