The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction skills, demonstrate leadership capabilities while ensuring high-quality workmanship and maintain safety standards. This role requires hands-on expertise in carpentry and general construction, along with the ability to read and comprehend blueprints. We are a small company looking to add more people to our team. Duties Lead and coordinate construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project specifications. Supervise a team of workers, providing guidance and support in various tasks including framing, trim carpentry, and fixture installation. Conduct accurate construction estimating to ensure proper budgeting for materials and labor. Perform hands-on tasks such as concrete forming, siding installation, flooring and possibly tile work. Oversee the installation of cabinets, doors, flooring, and other fixtures while ensuring quality standards are met. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site while enforcing safety protocols. Help train team members on the proper use of hand tools and power tools while promoting best practices in woodworking and restoration techniques. Skills Proficient in construction blueprint reading. Extensive experience in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, cabinetry installation, door hanging, window and flooring installation. Knowledgeable in various construction techniques Familiarity with heavy lifting requirements and safe handling of materials on-site. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team while ensuring high-quality results across all projects.
