- 42+/hr depending on experience + project incentives Dayspring Construction is looking for an experienced residential construction professional to become a key part of how we plan, manage and execute our renovation projects.
You may have previously:
Operated your own remodeling or general contracting business Worked as a residential GC Been a lead carpenter, working superintendent or project manager Managed small crews and subcontractors Estimated or scoped residential renovation work Taken houses or major remodels from demolition through completion We're especially interested in people who combine construction judgment, craftsmanship and practical business sense . You should be comfortable making decisions, but equally comfortable asking before making a decision that materially affects structure, design, cost or project strategy. You should also be able to communicate clearly and professionally. This is a small team, and we rely heavily on straightforward communication, reliability and mutual respect. Experience we're looking for Strong candidates will generally have: Significant residential remodeling experience Experience independently planning and completing renovation work Strong working knowledge of residential construction sequencing Good framing and carpentry fundamentals Strong finish-work standards Experience with doors, windows, cabinets and interior detailing Ability to read plans and understand construction details Experience estimating labor/material requirements or managing project costs Experience directing employees, apprentices or subcontractors Reliable transportation and a professional set of everyday construction tools Willingness to complete OSHA 10 and EPA Lead-Safe RRP certification if not already completed An active contractor license is not required . Compensation $38- 42+ per hour, depending on experience and the level of project responsibility you can take on.
