Job Description
Experienced Commercial Carpenter (Retail Remodels) - Woodburn, OR Peak is seeking experienced Commercial Carpenters to join our team for an upcoming day shift retail remodel project in Woodburn, OR . This is a 40-hour-per-week temporary contract position with weekly pay . Reliable team members who consistently show up, perform quality work, and demonstrate a strong work ethic will have the opportunity to be considered for future retail remodel, store renovation, and commercial construction projects across the region. This is a hands-on field position working alongside experienced construction professionals. This is not a supervisory role. What You'll Do Perform commercial carpentry and retail finish-out work Install fixtures, cabinetry, casework, shelving, and store equipment Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings Install or modify walls, ceilings, flooring, and millwork Complete punch-list items while maintaining high-quality workmanship Install digital signage, kiosks, menu boards, and other store technology Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Work closely with the Superintendent and project team to keep projects on schedule Preferred Experience Qualified candidates should have strong experience in retail or commercial construction and be proficient in several of the following: Commercial fixture installation Drywall installation Sheetrock hanging Mud work and finishing Level 5 drywall finish Interior painting Metal and wood framing Suspended (ACT) and hard-lid ceiling systems Flooring installation (VCT, tile, carpet tile) Countertop installation and modifications Store layout execution and blueprint reading Digital menu boards, kiosks, and signage installation Commercial door installation Qualifications Previous experience in commercial construction or retail remodels required Previous experience leading construction crews is a plus Ability to read and interpret construction drawings Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work safely in an active construction environment What We Offer Weekly Pay 40 Hours Per Week Opportunity for contract extensions and future projects Work with a growing national retail construction staffing company Fast hiring process with immediate opportunities If you're an experienced commercial carpenter who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants steady project-based work, we'd love to hear from you.
