Job Description
Job Summary Equitable Builds LLC is hiring a Carpenter / Skilled Laborer to work directly under our lead carpenters on residential renovation projects. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to grow in the trades, work hard, and be part of a team that produces high-quality work . Responsibilities Assist lead carpenter with daily job site tasks Perform demolition, material handling, and job site prep Assist with framing, trim, drywall, flooring, and cabinet installs Cut, measure, and install materials with accuracy Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Follow project scopes, plans, and direction from leadership Work Environment & Expectations Work in attics, roofs, crawlspaces, and unfinished areas Must be comfortable with heights Must be willing to get dirty and work in physically demanding conditions Some days are long and labor-intensive We work until the job is done right Requirements 1-3+ years of construction or carpentry experience preferred Basic knowledge of tools (tape measure, saws, drills, levels) Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Strong work ethic and ability to take direction Preferred Skills Trim carpentry Cabinet installation Flooring (LVP, tile prep) Drywall hanging and patching What We're Looking For Not afraid of heights, getting dirty, or hard work Shows up on time and ready to work Takes pride in doing things the right way What We Offer Consistent, year-round work Opportunity for advancement Performance-based raises Work on high-quality residential projects How to Apply Please submit: Work experience Skills and trade background Contact information If you're looking for easy work, this isn't it.
