Carpenter Job Description We are seeking an experienced carpenter to join our dynamic team. This role involves working on large-scale commercial projects such as office buildings, retail centers, schools, and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will be skilled in structural framing, drywall installation, and finish carpentry, with a strong understanding of commercial building codes and safety standards. Paying upwards of $30 an Hr! Responsibilities Interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications for commercial projects. Construct, install, and repair structures including walls, floors, ceilings, partitions, and doors. Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks using a variety of hand and power tools. Install metal and wood framing, drywall, acoustic ceilings, and millwork. Ensure all work meets commercial building codes and project specifications. Collaborate with other trades such as electricians, plumbers, and HVAC professionals to coordinate workflow. Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to OSHA and company safety protocols. Inspect work for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed. Essential Skills 3-5 years of carpentry experience. 1-3 years of commercial construction experience. 1-3 years of drywall experience. Proficient in framing and finish carpentry. Experience using hand and power tools. Ability to interpret blueprints. Ability to lift 75 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with metal framing. Clean driving record. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Mercersburg, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $30.00/hr.
