Job Description
Job Description Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Construction Carpenter with strong woodworking skills to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with framing, rough and finish carpentry, measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wood materials. The right candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, understands construction plans and measurements, and can work safely and efficiently both independently and as part of a crew. Key Responsibilities Perform rough and finish carpentry work on residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects. Measure, cut, shape, and install lumber and other wood materials. Build and install wall framing, floors, roofs, doors, windows, and other wood structures. Construct and assemble wood components according to blueprints and project specifications. Perform woodworking, trim work, cabinetry, and other finish carpentry as needed. Use hand tools, power tools, saws, drills, nail guns, and other carpentry equipment safely. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans. Inspect completed work to ensure proper fit, alignment, measurements, and quality. Repair, replace, or modify existing wood structures when required. Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition. Follow all OSHA, company, and job-site safety requirements. Keep work areas organized and free of unnecessary hazards. Communicate effectively with supervisors, contractors, and other members of the construction crew. Requirements Qualifications 3+ years of construction carpentry experience preferred. Strong hands-on woodworking experience. Proficiency with common carpentry hand and power tools. Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install wood $30.00 hr and $140.00 per day worked per diem
