Construction - Swing

We are looking for an employee that can work in a multitude of departments - some plumbing, electrical, roofing, framing, spackle, etc., which means experienced in all phases of construction. Responsibilities vary from each department that you would be assigned to throughout the work day. There would be the following activity required on any given day: climbing up to 8 feet, lifting/carrying up to 75 lbs., drilling, cutting, installing pipe and fittings (pvc, copper & pex), kneeling, squatting and lying (under floor plumbing), reaching, pulling wire (electric), operating pneumatic tools, standing and bending.

Responsibilities:

Install drywall Install sheathing and decking materials Frame walls, ceilings and floors Performs residential electrical and plumbing work, lock installation and repair Install exterior siding, trim and roofing products. Install mouldings, such as Casing, Base & Crown Install cabinetry, doors and hardware. Operate woodworking machines and tools such as power saws, drills, planers. Installing flooring and fixtures.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma Carpentry, plumbing, electrical, construction experience required Versatility and willingness to transfer into various departments when necessary. Must be able to walk, climb, and repeatedly lift at least 75lb s, as well as other physical duties as needed. You must be able to communicate efficiently and clearly with other Team Members. Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings and work orders greatly desired. •Taking verbal and written instructions from management and other supervisory staff Knowledge of units of measurement and basic hand tools.
