Job Description
We are looking for an experienced rough framer to join our team. We are located in Scranton, PA and build residential and commercial buildings. As a Framer you will be responsible to build various components around the manufacturing plant assembly line including, but not limited to, floors, walls, and ceilings. Candidates should be proficient with the use of power tools, tape measures, assembling walls, strapping, installing joists, window installation etc. Responsibilities
- Build from issued prints and work orders
- Makes measurements from drawings for proposed work, source materials, and prepares the site for work.
- Ensures they have the necessary equipment, tools, and materials to perform the tasks.
- Frame floors, ceilings or walls and install and fasten decking, drywall or sheathing
- Work safely and with proper PPE Requirements and Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma
- Knowledge of practical building methods
- Ability to read work orders and prints
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools
- Ability to read tape measure
- Good problem-solving skills
