Fine Line Trim is seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team and complete final punch list items on newly constructed homes. This role is critical to ensuring every home meets our quality standards before homeowner turnover. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, pays close attention to detail, and has experience performing a variety of finish carpentry repairs and adjustments in a residential construction environment.
Responsibilities:
Complete punch list items on newly constructed homes prior to final delivery. Apply clean, professional beads of caulking to trim, cabinetry, and other finish surfaces. Adjust cabinet doors, drawers, and hardware for proper alignment and operation. Fill and repair nail holes, seams, and minor imperfections in trim and cabinetry. Repair or replace damaged baseboards, casing, crown molding, and other finish trim. Perform minor touch-up carpentry and corrective work as needed. Read and follow punch lists to ensure all assigned items are completed accurately. Maintain a clean and safe work area on active construction sites. Communicate completed work and any unresolved issues to supervisors.
Qualifications:
Ability to read, understand, and complete punch lists independently. Proven experience in finish carpentry within residential construction. Strong skills in trim installation, cabinet adjustments, caulking, and finish work. Ability to identify and correct cosmetic and functional deficiencies. Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license
Additional Requirements:
This position requires the ability to work extended hours in a field environment and perform duties in varying weather conditions. Employees must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle, read and interpret construction plans and specifications, and stand or walk for extended periods of time. The role requires frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and climbing ladders, as well as working at varying heights and navigating active construction sites. Employees must also be able to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
Compensation:

Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
