About the Role The Lead Carpenter position is central to the success of EAC. As the cornerstone of our operations, you'll work directly with our clients to transform their houses into dream homes. This role offers an opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of our customers, while ensuring that every project meets the high standards of quality and craftsmanship that define our company. We are considering candidates only from around a 30 mile radius from the Austin TX area:
Key Responsibilities Jobsite Preparation:
Prepare and protect the jobsite before beginning work.
Jobsite Clean-Up:
Maintain cleanliness throughout the project's duration.
Demolition:
Safely remove walls, cabinets, plumbing, and electrical as needed.
Framing:
Build and install both non-load-bearing and load-bearing walls.
Trim and Finish Work:
Install doors, windows, trim, caulk, and finish detailed projects.
Punchlist Completion:
Address final tasks to ensure client satisfaction.
Daily Job Logs:
Maintain detailed records of daily work completed.
Follow Company Processes:
Adhere to company systems and processes to maintain consistency and quality.
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in the home construction industry.
Skills:

Mechanical:
Proficiency with tools and machines used in construction. o
Math:
Ability to measure materials accurately and read blueprints. o
Detail-Oriented:
High level of precision and attention to quality work. o
Critical Thinking:
Problem-solving skills to address project challenges proactively. o
Communication:
Strong verbal communication skills, especially with clients. Tools Required Tool belt with basic hand tools and cordless drill/impact, circular saw. Depends on open position Tools required to be organized
Transportation:
Maintain reliable transportation to ensure the timely delivery of materials and personnel, enabling EAC to consistently uphold its commitment to efficiency, professionalism, and exceptional project execution. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and handle heavy tools and materials, including lumber. Stamina to stand, climb, lift, bend, and work for extended periods.
